What to Expect On a Guided Hunt
Every hunt is built around one thing — the birds.
North Battleford sits in the heart of Saskatchewan’s prairie breeding grounds — where waterfowl live, feed, and stage throughout the season before heading south.
These birds aren’t simply passing through. This region serves as home territory for much of the fall, with strong concentrations in surrounding agricultural fields and wetlands. That’s what creates consistent opportunity and the potential for high-volume days when conditions line up. We scout hard and adjust daily to stay on the birds.
Throughout the season we’ll hunt:
• Puddle Ducks
• Greater Canada Geese
• Lesser Canada Geese
• Specklebellies (White-fronts)
• Snow Geese
• Sandhill Cranes
If we’re able to do what we do best and conditions cooperate, expect fast-paced, action-filled shoots. This region is known for it.
We hunt primarily out of A-frames and layout blinds, depending on the field and conditions. Our trained retrievers are part of every hunt — steady, experienced dogs that know how to get the job done.
We take care of the entire operation:
Scouting. Decoy spreads. Ammo. Calling. Retrieval. Clean up. Assistance with bird processing.
You simply show up ready to rock — dressed for the conditions, proper gear in hand, shotgun ready to go.
This is wild waterfowl hunting. We can’t control the weather or the timing of migration, and we don’t make guarantees. What we can promise is preparation, effort, and elite experienced guides who know how to adapt.
If the birds are here and the conditions line up, expect the kind of hunts Saskatchewan is famous for!
*We offer private group hunts for a minimum of 6 hunters, with a 3-day minimum stay. Your group will have the entire experience to yourselves — no mixed parties. If less than 6 we reserve the right to add hunters to make up a group.
