Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’re not here just to guide hunts.

We’re here because we love this game.

The Saskatchewan’s special. It’s proven, providing once in a lifetime hunts. And we’re here, we feel that same anticipation that made us fall in love with waterfowl in the first place — cold mornings, the first call, birds committing to the spread.

While we may be a new outfitter to this area, our guides are seasoned professionals. Years in the field, countless seasons chasing birds, and a deep understanding migration pattern shapes everything we do.

We don’t just want you to have a successful trip. We want you leaving here reminded why you hunt.

  • Because this is what waterfowl hunting is supposed to feel like.

North Battleford sits in the heart of Saskatchewan’s prairie breeding grounds — a region where waterfowl don’t just pass through, they live, feed, and stage before the southern migration.

Unlike areas that rely solely on birds moving through, this is home territory. Throughout the season, birds concentrate in surrounding wetlands and agricultural fields, creating consistent opportunity and the potential for high-volume days when conditions line up.

This is authentic prairie waterfowl country — wide skies, working fields, and strong numbers of birds.

    Species we pursue include:

    • Puddle Ducks

    • Greater & Lesser Canada Geese

    • Specklebellies (White-front Geese)

    • Snow Geese

    • Sandhill Cranes

If you’re looking for true prairie hunting — where birds are plentiful and the experience is as real as it gets — Saskatchewan delivers.

  • At this time, transporting harvested birds across the U.S. border is not permitted.

Additionally, U.S. import regulations through agencies such as Customs and Border Protection and the USDA can prohibit or restrict the transport of whole birds, carcasses, or unprocessed meat from Canada into the United States. Regulations may change at any time depending on disease monitoring and federal policy updates.

For this reason, hunters should plan accordingly and expect that birds will not be transported back across the border.
